Bahrain Kuwait Insurance has recently signed an agreement with ICICI Bank (Bahrain branch), India's largest private sector bank, for the distribution of its general insurance products targeting primarily the Indian expatriate community in Bahrain.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Ebrahim Al Rayes, Chief Executive Officer of BKIC and Mr. Vikash Sharma, Country Head of ICICI Bank in the presence of members of senior management of the two organizations.

Commenting on this strategic partnership, Mr. Al Rayes stated, “We are very happy to sign this agreement with ICICI bank and are very positive about the success of bancassurance services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This agreement provides yet another channel for us to reach out to potential customers who can transact their personal insurances and banking under one roof.

This partnership provides ICICI Bank's individual customers a unique opportunity to purchase their insurance protection through their preferred Bank and enjoy the solid security and prompt services of BKIC. In addition to the standard products, ICICI Bank will also provide insurance products specifically designed for the Indian expatriate community residing in the Kingdom Bahrain.
